Service agreement

Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of ZenProfit, an independently operated Shopify app that estimates store profit, product margins, expenses, and advertising performance. By installing or using ZenProfit for a store, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the business you are authorized to represent.

Eligibility and Account Authority

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and be the Shopify store owner or have authority to manage the store, its app subscription, and any connected advertising accounts. You are responsible for activity performed through authorized Shopify staff accounts and for keeping access credentials secure.

License and Ownership

Subject to these Terms, ZenProfit grants the merchant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its authorized Shopify stores. ZenProfit's software, branding, documentation, and original content remain the property of the operator or applicable licensors. Merchants retain their rights in store data and settings they provide.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • access a store or advertising account without permission;
  • submit unlawful data or content you are not authorized to process;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, bypass limits, or interfere with the service;
  • reverse engineer or copy the service except where applicable law cannot restrict it;
  • use automated requests in a way that violates Shopify or provider policies; or
  • use ZenProfit for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.

Plans, Trial, and Shopify Billing

ZenProfit uses Shopify App Pricing. Shopify hosts plan selection, displays the authoritative price and billing interval before approval, confirms the subscription, manages trial eligibility, processes recurring charges, and applies its plan-change, proration, cancellation, and billing rules. ZenProfit does not collect card details or create a separate paid entitlement from a local plan choice.

  • Free: $0, up to 100 orders/month and a 1 year data lookback.
  • Growth — Growing stores: currently advertised at $19/month or $190/year, up to 1,000 orders/month and 2 years of history.
  • Pro — Recommended for high volume: currently advertised at $49/month or $490/year, up to 5,000 orders/month and 5 years of history.

Growth and Pro include a 14-day trial only after an eligible merchant selects and approves the applicable paid subscription through Shopify. Shopify's confirmed trial timestamp is authoritative. Uninstalling, reinstalling, retrying, or using ZenProfit on Free does not create or extend a separate ZenProfit trial.

Pro is available when Shopify presents it as selectable for the merchant. Shopify's confirmed subscription remains authoritative.

Plan Features and Limits

Free includes Net Profit and P&L, manual COGS and expenses, released Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat Ads connections with multi-account support, marketing performance, customer analytics, and ZenProfit AI within its 1 year data window. Growth adds more order capacity and paid workflows such as COGS import/report export, advanced shipping and payment-fee rules, historical recalculation, saved/scheduled reports, and Smart Alerts. Pro includes the Growth capability set with its higher allowance,5 years of history, four report schedules, profit reconciliation, and audit-ready exports. Runtime health, provider availability, permissions, and separate feature release gates may still affect a capability.

Merchant-facing pricing describes allowances as orders/month. Internally, ZenProfit uses a deterministic rolling 30-day shop-local window. Free usage above 100 triggers a Growth trial or upgrade reminder. Growth and Pro can include a 30-day continuous-overage notice before escalating their capacity message. Synced orders inside the plan's lookback remain visible and included in calculations regardless of the monthly allowance.

A history allowance is a maximum entitlement, not a guarantee that every day is available. Actual history can be shorter because of the install date, synchronization progress, Shopify API access, approved scopes, provider retention, or missing source data. A downgrade, cancellation, or trial expiry can reduce visible history and disable creation of paid artifacts or schedules without immediately deleting the underlying store data.

Changes, Cancellation, and Refunds

Use the Shopify-hosted pricing or subscription controls linked from ZenProfit or Shopify Admin to change or cancel a paid plan. A plan change becomes effective according to the state Shopify confirms, including any scheduled downgrade or cancellation date. Uninstalling stops future use and triggers ZenProfit's deletion workflow, but it does not reverse charges already approved or incurred.

Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where Shopify or ZenProfit expressly approves otherwise. Contact [email protected] for a billing question, but do not send payment credentials.

Estimated Financial Data

ZenProfit provides estimates for operational decision support. It is not an accounting ledger, tax return, audit, financial statement, or substitute for professional accounting, tax, or financial advice.

Profit, margin, ROAS/POAS, attribution, and currency-converted values can differ from final business results. Merchant-entered costs, refunds, taxes, duties, shipping, payment fees, provider attribution, exchange rates, delayed synchronization, missing permissions, locked data, and third-party corrections can change an estimate. You must review source data and use appropriate professional records before making tax, accounting, financing, or other material decisions.

Merchant Data and Confidentiality

ZenProfit uses merchant data to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service as described in the Privacy Policy. We use reasonable safeguards and do not disclose merchant confidential information except to provide the service, follow authorized instructions, protect rights or security, or meet legal obligations. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of costs, rules, report recipients, support content, and connected-account permissions you provide.

Third-Party Services

ZenProfit depends on Shopify and may integrate with advertising, exchange-rate, hosting, logging, queue, and email services. Those services have their own terms, permissions, API limits, availability, retention, and billing rules. ZenProfit does not control provider approval, source-data accuracy, API changes, outages, or permission revocation.

Availability and Changes to the Service

We work to operate ZenProfit reliably, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security response, capacity protection, Shopify/provider changes, network issues, or events outside our control may delay or restrict a feature. We may modify or discontinue functionality when reasonably necessary, while communicating material merchant-facing changes as required.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using ZenProfit by cancelling any paid subscription and uninstalling the app. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for security, platform compliance, non-payment, unlawful activity, material breach, abuse, or protection of merchants and the service. Data handling after uninstall or a verified deletion request is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZenProfit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free financial results. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from ZenProfit. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid for ZenProfit during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory legal rights and liabilities that cannot be limited remain unaffected.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, the merchant agrees to indemnify the operator against third-party claims arising from unauthorized account use, unlawful data supplied to ZenProfit, or a material violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service, plans, providers, or legal obligations change. The current effective date appears above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or an appropriate merchant contact channel when required. Continued use after an effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through the contact below. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
